Respected Sir/Ma'm,
This complaint is in regards to the HDFC bank opposing to the unauthorized emandate purchase which got activated on my account without my knowledge. This unauthorized service has been charging my account an amount of Rs. 299.00 on every 3rd month and this has been going on since June 26th, 2024.
After making multiple failed attempts and contacts with the HDFC bank since its all falling on deaf ears, I am here pleading at your forum to get this ongoing issue sorted.
In June month, I did make a complaint and got the case escalated via IVR banking support team and requested the team to unsubscribe the subscription. One of those executives did assure me of making the correction with the unsubscription of the service (Nov Digital Entertainment Private Limited- 3 Months Plan - Charges ₹299.00) however, after the deduction the next day only I realised that the executive did not implement it ever which again caused my bank to make that unauthorised payment.
Following the Merchandise Standing Instructions on the SiHub HDFC website, it does not let it's customers to sign up for one time registration of SiHub account. While attempting for the registration process of bank account validation, the website page pops up with an 'Invalid Details' error, and this is a never ending one. If you google this issue, you will come across of multiple complaints made by the customers regarding the exact error people have been facing.
This service is making me believe that the HDFC Bank website has something fishy at their bank's end or may say a scam which we customers are not aware of as we blindly trust them.
Kindly intervene and look into this matter to get this unauthorised subscription cancelled and not getting my account charged on 26th of every 3rd month. So far I have been charged Rs. 598.00 (299 * 2) on June and September this year. Basis these date calculation, my account is again going to be charged on 26th of December, next month.
I am here attaching all the proofs including sms, email, compalaints, bank statement for your reference. Kindly help to get me out of this mess Sir/M'am as the HDFC Bank team only indulge in creating and raising Complaint Tickets for all the formalities that they can make rather than working on the roort causes and not causing trouble to their customers.
Additionally, I have also attached emails of my recent interactions regarding this issue made on 26th November for your reference. Kindly go through them all to understand this issue more.
