I am writing to formally inform you regarding an issue with my recent purchase of a Havells Hawk Heavy Weight 1100W Iron Box from Reliance Digital. The item was delivered on 19/10/2025, under Order ID: RD68EE38650E6528D3E7.
As per the product description on the Reliance Digital website, the listed weight of the item is 1710g. However, upon receiving and checking the product, I found that the actual weight is only 1450g. I have attached supporting proof of the weight measurement for your reference.
I raised a return request on 19/10/2025 (the same day of delivery), and received an email confirmation that the return request was initiated and the item would be picked up shortly. However, as of 23/10/2025, the item has not been collected. When I contacted customer care, I was informed that the return request was denied, stating that the product matches the website description.
To verify, I contacted both Havells and checked Flipkart’s product listing, and both confirm that the standard product weight is approximately 1410g. Therefore, the weight mentioned on the Reliance Digital website (1710g) is incorrect and misleading.
According to your return policy, products that differ from the description provided on the Reliance Digital platform are eligible for return. Hence, my return request qualifies under this clause.
I have attached all relevant proofs and supporting documents for your review. I kindly request you to consider and process the return and refund for this order at the earliest.
