Hello team,
We have planned a trip on 2nd Oct for ooty, our hotel was booked from Make My Trip. On 1st Oct we got the message from hotel owner that there are some issues on the property because of weather conditions, so they informed that we are cancelling the booking from there side and we will get the refund of booking through Make My Trip within 2-3 days. We have paid the money through credit card so we thought that it is ok that we will get the refund. After that we booked another hotel in hurry because our trip was going to start, after booking the hotel we saw that there is no allowance in that hotel, we cannot take food, we cannot go play songs, we cannot BBQ even we cannot sit and talk, so we were not having a trip to learn discipline. We called hotel owner to confirm they said yes these are the policies and if you want to cancel then please cancel the booking and we will provide full refund. As they us confirmation of full refund we cancelled the booking. We connected the owner after cancelling the trip they again confirmed that they will approve the full refund request. After coming back from the trip we didn't receive any amount back, we thought that there might be some delay in refund so let it go as Make My Trip is such a big company so we trusted that thing. After few days we started contacting the Make My Trip Support to check the refund status, they raise our complaint and gave us 48 hour TAT. We till now from 1st Oct to 7th Nov did not receive any refund from Make My Trip. They say that we have raised the complaint every time. When we asked to contact any senior or supervisor, they replied no senior is present. WE WANT THE REFUND OF BOTH THE HOTELS FROM MMT ASAP, I AM SEEKING HELP FROM CONSUMER COURT TO HELP ME OUT WITH THE STRICT ACTION ON THE CASE AND PROVIDE THE REFUND FOR OUR CANCELLED BOOKING.
I have attached the booking slips of Make My Trip and if you want anything else please let me know. I want the refund from MMT also compensation as I have paid extra on my credit card due to delay. They are scammers trust me they are.
