I booked a hotel in Goibibo and cancelled it on 31st January. They promised me instant refund but today when i am writing this it is 8th March but still my refund is not reflecting in my account. When I contact their customer support every time they ask me to share the bank statement and I am doing so but no resolution is being provided. And one of their executive also said that this refund is initiated in your HDFC account but I have no HDFC account on the other hand someone is telling that it is refunded in your SBI account only. They are only confusing me and delaying my refund process. They are not helping me at all. I went to the bank as well but they said that no such refund is initiated till now and they asked me to ask Goibibo to send the transaction details of the refund, I asked them but they are not listening and ignoring my request and delaying my refund of hard on money of mine. Please I request to give my refund back as soon as possible and I urge the senior most Goibibo Representative to take over this case and resolve my case as soon as possible.

We are outlining the first step to be taken before filing a case in the Consumer Forum against Goibibo.

Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted the company via email or customer care and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.

We recommend that you first send an email to the customer care department of the Goibibo (grievanceofficer@goibibo.com), clearly outlining your concerns, that no room was provided even after pre-booking and requesting for Compensation and also ask them to Refund the amount.

This step not only gives the Goibibo a chance to compensate and refund but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later..
