I am writing to formally dispute the denial of my refund for Order #404-0465285-5474746 (Casio G-Shock GM-2100G-1A9DR). My refund has been unjustly rejected on the grounds of "wrong item received," a claim that is factually incorrect and unsupported by evidence.
I request an immediate reversal of this decision based on the following facts:
Verified Pickup on 13 December 2025:
The item was thoroughly inspected for originality and condition by the Amazon logistics associate at the time of handover of the original product.
Chain of Custody: Tracking shows the item reached the seller/return center on December 15th. For 16 days, no issues were reported. It was only after the item was briefly marked "Lost in Transit" that the "wrong item" claim surfaced.
Destruction of Evidence: I have been informed by Amazon support that the item I returned has been "destroyed." This is a gross violation of procedure. If Amazon claims the item was incorrect, it remains my property and should be returned to me. By destroying the item, Amazon has eliminated my ability to verify your claim while retaining my funds.
Lack of Proof: When asked for photographic evidence of the "wrong item" or a technician's report, I was told none exists because the item was destroyed. Amazon cannot legally or ethically withhold a refund based on a discrepancy they cannot prove and have physically erased.
Required Resolution:
Immediate Full Refund: Given that the item was verified at pickup and Amazon has admitted to destroying the property in question, a full refund is the only fair resolution.
Alternatively, Return of Property: If a refund is denied, I demand the return of the exact item I sent back. If you are unable to do this because it was destroyed, you are liable for the full cost of the product.
