I am G Suresh S/o G Sambasivachari made a consignment through M/s Dilip Roadlines ltd , Hubballi booked on 01/12/2025 under GC Number 4964481 and delivered on 21/12/2025. However, upon delivery, the wooden sofa set arrived broken in multiple places, with damage near the legs, broken joints, and structural instability, leaving it completely unusable. The sofa cushions were also found in unhygienic condition with rat bites observed, making them unsuitable for use.
The extent of damage clearly indicates mishandling during transit, and despite multiple follow-ups, the consignment was delayed and delivered in poor condition. Additionally, too much of delay delivery time and they didn't give proper response.
On 21st December 2025 at 8:32 PM, I sent an email from suryabsc.kumar@gmail.com to claims@drsindia.in and info@agarwalpackers.in. Despite this, I received no response whatsoever—neither by email nor by phone. Only after repeated follow-ups did I discover that their claim submission process had changed. Accordingly, I submitted my claim through their platform Claims | Agarwal Packers and Movers | DRS Group | Since 1984 on 23rd December 2025, and was issued GD No. CHN1816. Yet again, there was no communication from their end.
I was forced to personally track down Mr. Krishna Reddy from claims department (Mobile: 8144604162) and explain the damage to the sofa, which was clearly due to mishandling and rat infestation. I even shared photographic evidence via WhatsApp (8688270271). Still, there was no reply or acknowledgment. Finally, on 29th December 2025 at 12:02 PM, I had to call Mr. Krishna Reddy myself. Only then, at 4:14 PM, I received an email from claims.eastwest@drsindia.in signed by Mr. G.V. Ramana, Claim Department, Head Office, Hyderabad, Agarwal Packers & Movers (DrsGroup),9392635730. Shockingly, this email wrongly mentioned As per our discussion held with our Sr, regarding your claim we are offer according to your damages & missing & for Rs:1000/- full & final settlement against vide GC no-4964481 on priority". No one has discussed the settlement.
This so-called settlement is grossly inadequate and unacceptable. The damaged sofa set and cushions are in unusable condition, and the proposed amount does not even cover a fraction of the actual loss.
Furthermore, at the time of booking, theri (M/s DRS DILIP ROADLINES LTD) team failed to inform me about the insurance policy option, which could have safeguarded against such losses. This omission reflects a serious lapse in transparency and customer care, leaving me exposed to financial loss without any protection.
We hereby state clearly that we will accept only one of the following resolutions:
I urge you to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and provide an appropriate settlement without further delay. In this connection kindly consider my case for justice.
