An agreement on court paper was done for construction of house to be completed by 10 April 2025 and as per condition of paymnet we have made 95 % payment to contractor and rest of the 5% payment was to be made after completion of all works .Now it is june and 2 more months have elapsed and contractor is adopting a delaying tactics on one pretext or the other and lingering on the work and demanding 5% money and himself violating his terms.

We understand that the Contractor has not responded to your phone calls and using tactics to delay your work, despite you having all the necessary supporting court documents.

In such a situation, we suggest that you proceed by sending a legal notice to the Contractor, formally requesting a resolution of your issue start your construction work on immediate basic. Kindly allow them a 15-day period to respond to the notice.

If you do not receive any response within this timeframe, please revert to us. We will then guide you through the process of filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
