Complaint Summary:I placed an order for “MANGO MAN Slim Fit Jeans” through Myntra, sold by Truenet Commerce. The product was physically delivered to me on 15 October 2025 at 2:01 PM, and full payment of ₹2,928 was made to the delivery executive through PhonePe (Transaction ID: T25101514016664856167520, UTR: 369684189720).However, even after successful delivery and payment, the Myntra app is showing the order status as “Cancelled” and not delivered. Moreover, I did not receive any invoice with the product package, only a delivery label typically issued by e-commerce partners.Shockingly, the delivered jeans has a broken zip, though the brand tag and seal were fully intact, indicating a defective product dispatched by the seller. Due to the app showing “Cancelled”, the return/refund option is disabled, and customer service refused assistance, stating they cannot help unless the system shows the product as delivered.This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice by Myntra, causing mental distress and financial loss.Attempts Made to Resolve:Multiple contacts made to Myntra Customer Support between 16–23 October 2025, no resolution received.Complaint raised through chat and call service; response was “invoice not available, hence return not possible.”No escalation acknowledgment or corrective action was provided by the grievance team.Evidence (Attached):Screenshot of Myntra order page showing “Cancelled” status.Payment proof from PhonePe app (Transaction ID and UTR).Product photographs showing broken zip and intact tag.Parcel image showing delivery slip and label.Copies of all communications made with Myntra customer support.Legal Grounds:
This issue violates provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, specifically:Section 2(11): Deficiency in service.Section 2(47): Unfair trade practice (taking payment, showing order cancelled, and denying after-sales service).Section 14(1): Entitlement to compensation for defective goods and harassment faced.Reliefs Sought:Immediate correction of order status to “Delivered”.Authorization for product return and full refund of ₹2,928 or replacement of the defective product.Written apology from Myntra for mismanagement and refusal to assist.Compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience as per the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.Disciplinary or regulatory action against the seller “Truenet Commerce” for dispatching defective goods and denying proper documentation (invoice).Declaration:
