I had booked a trip to Ooty ( 18th to 20th April 2025) through Samvit Holidays owned by Mr.Arjun Ram (9916082829) and paid the full booking amount of 35,000 INR. However due to a bad experience with the same agency and person during my Kashmir travel earlier during first week of April’25, 3rd to 9th (Even after I had paid the entire 1.2lacs in advance, he did not pay the hotel and travel guys and on my last day stay at Kashmir I had to receive unsolicited calls from different J&K numbers throughout midnight – all of them who were men asking me to pay the money and the hotel said they will not allow me to check out at 5am – I had an early morning flight at 7.30am back to Bangalore, I was literally harassed and this guy Arjun asked me to pay the hotel and at one point he stopped even picking may calls), post this disturbing incident I had asked him to cancel the ooty booking and refund the money. Since I gave him a notice of almost 10+ days, he said he would refund within a week. Despite multiple follow up through calls and messages, he was not responding and when he did it was always with an excuse. Out of the 35K he has only refunded 15k and balance of 20K is pending. After calling him multiple times I said I will reach out to the consumer forum to file a complaint.
