I have been sleeping on the sofa for the past 15 days. Why, you ask? Because I, in my terrible judgement bought a bed from Pepperfry on 4th of January 2026:

1. The installation team took forever to come.
2. After almost 3 hours of trying, we discovered that the parts were mismatched and I was left with a half assembled bed I couldn't use.
3. The carpenter failed to file the report on time.
4. Took another 5 days to acknowledge the problem.
5. Raised a return request along with a request to give me a 24 hours notice when the carpenter would arrive, so I can manage my WFH days.
6. Carpenter arrived without notice. Still, I think the worst is over and now the pickup team can remove the bed, so I can go out to buy a bed the human way.
7. The return pick up is scheduled and cancelled twice without any input from me in the past 3 days.

And now that I have to travel out of station, I am out of options.

Every time I have called/ chatted with the support, they tell me nothing helpful outside of their standard response and information that the 72 hour SLA starts from this minute.

Essentially, anytime the support has called me at the end of the SLA, it was to inform me that I need to wait another 72 hours because they do not have information from the "concerned" team.

The staff calls to inform that they need more time and close the complaint marking it "resolved" and start a new one where the SLA counter starts again. Very very sneaky!
