On January 7, I purchased a carton of eggs (Dr. Hen table white eggs) from Swiggy Instamart (Hinjewadi Phase 3 area, Pune). Upon boiling one of the eggs, I was horrified to discover that it contained a partially developed hen embryo. This experience was extremely distasteful and has caused me considerable mental distress.
The sight of the partially developed hen embryo was shocking and repulsive. As someone who has always considered eggs a staple in my diet, this incident has severely impacted my perception of the food item. The experience was so traumatic that I found it difficult to consume any eggs for several days afterward.
I have experienced recurring thoughts about the incident, which has led to a loss of appetite and difficulty in sleeping. The distressing image of the embryo in the egg has left a lasting impression on my mind, causing me emotional turmoil.
I believe that the negligence of the Swiggy Instamart in ensuring the quality and safety of their products is unacceptable. As a consumer, I expect the products I purchase to be safe and free from such horrifying defects.
