Dear Sir,
I am Ganapathi, working with Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited as a Manager.I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with a washing machine I received from Flipkart, order number 408-5206926-3714712, placed on October 5, 2024. The washing machine was delivered on October 10, 2024.It was an open delivery, the delivery boy just opened the packing cover showed. There is no identifiable damaged hence my wife said ok and received the delivery.
The Service engineer from BOSCH who came for installation told that the machine was manufacturing defect/Damage and was unable to complete the installation. He provided a job sheet documenting the issue which I have attached here with this email.
I have approached Flipkart nearly 20 times in this 20 days but they rejected my request saying that it's an open delivery .Sir, I would like to ask you one thing,if it is physical outside damage the customer can see and identify and reject but how would the customer know the washing was defective which requires expertise. The photos uploaded by the delivery boy and photos uploaded by me are the same . But your customer care department does not even understand what the problem is.
Infact i have also given my existing washing machine also in exchange, due to the fact that we are finding it very difficult to manage day-to-today washing needs at home. I have been undergoing mental stress for the last two week.
I am a student of IIT kanpur. If this is the way you are treating your customer issues then definitely in the long term people like me will lose faith in online purchase definitely.
BOSCH has advised me to contact Flipkart directly regarding this matter as it was not installed . I kindly request that you arrange for a replacement of the defective washing machine at your earliest convenience.
