I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the repeated technical issues with my Ola S1 Air, purchased on 27 August 2024. Despite several visits to the Ola Experience Centre, Ajmer, the recurring problem — “Scooter issue, change to Park Mode” — continues to persist, often occurring within 500 meters of driving from the rest.

Each time I contacted customer care, I was first advised to purchase a roadside assistance plan (approximately ₹3000 per year), rather than receiving immediate support to address the core issue. Nevertheless, I have personally managed to take the scooter to your service center on multiple occasions, as detailed below:

  • 1 October 2024 – Service Ticket No. 05475631
  • 28 December 2024 – Service Ticket No. 06710524
  • 4 February 2025 – Service Ticket No. 07141216
  • 26 February 2025 – Service Ticket No. 07387746
  • 9–10 March 2025 – Service Ticket No. 07507047

  • 28 October 2025 – Service Ticket No. 10730564
  • 10 November 2025 - Service Ticket No. 10730564 (After raising online email on 8 Nov 2025)
Despite these repeated visits, the said issue remains unresolved. During my last visit, I also observed that a large number of Ola scooters (around 80–90 units) have been already awaiting repairs for the past 2–3 months, reportedly due to non-availability of spare parts. The service staff requested me to leave my scooter for a similar duration, which is highly inconvenient and disheartening. (A few pictures from the service center are attached for your reference.)

I sincerely request your kind intervention to ensure a permanent and timely resolution to this problem. I truly appreciate Ola’s vision of promoting sustainable mobility, but my experience so far has been quite disappointing. I hope your team can provide an effective long-term solution at the earliest.

Presently, I am driving the scooter by covering the motor control unit with plastic paper, which seems to be not a sustainable solution.
