Respected Sir,
I was using Otipy platform for supply of Food and Grocery items. As per their system I was supposed to keep money in their wallet. any item required was supposed to be selected and kept in the cart till the midnight. in the next morning, in between 5.00 am to 8.00 am items kept in the cart was being delivered at the doorstep after deducting its cost from my wallet balance amount. suddenly on 17th May 2025, the Otipy (without any advance intimation) discontinued its services. when no supply of the cart items was made in the morning, I contacted delivery boy (who was regularly making delivery) and he told that Otipy had now closed its services and hence, my items were not supplied and requested me to contact the Otipy. On that day an amount of Rs 1853 was balance in my Otipy wallet. When I tried to contact Otipy in their Whatsapp numbers (the only way to contact them), all their numbers were showing either "not valid" or "not in use", leaving no other source of contacting them.
However, through net I got their an email address (contact1@crofarm.com). on the said email address I sent an email (on 6th June 2025) requesting them to refund my wallet balance of Rs 1853. On 6th June 2025 itself I received a reply from Mr Dishant of Team Escalation of Otipy stating that they had ceased their operation and my wallet balance would be refunded within 60 to 90 days. Thereafter, even after having so many conversations with Mr Dishant through emails, my wallet balance of Rs 1853 was not refunded and now Mr Dishant has also stopped to give response to my emails.
The above act by the Otipy has given physical, mental and financial agony and pain to me and now I am afraid of duping of hard earned money of an old aged pensioner.
Therefore, oit is requested that kindly look into it and pass a suitable order to Otipy to refund my wallet balance with adequate compensation for giving me mental, physical agony and pain to me.
