Respected Hon'ble Consumer Court,
I, Bibek Praharaj resident of D162 Krishna Park, Devli Road Khanpur, New Delhi, am a customer of Excitel Broadband Wi-Fi connection. At the time of installation, I deposited a security amount Rs.1000/- thereafter deposit another security deposit 1000/- for availing Excitel router.
On 20th Jan62025, I raised Service Request (SR) #71288472 with Excitel to surrender my broadband connection and request a refund of the security deposit. Despite several follow-ups and repeated calls over the last 7-8 months, the issue remains unresolved. I raised a multiple requests(#71288472. W7228839, #72316948) because Excitel closes the case without resolution.
Moreover, contacting their customer care has been extremely difficult, Calls are kept on hold for 1-4 hrs on average. As per their assurance, an engineer was supposed to visit my premises to collect the device.after which the refund would be processed. However, even after 9-12 months, neither any engineer visited not have I received any communication from Excitel.
I have lost patience due to this prolonged delay and lack of response. Therefore, I humbly request the Hon'ble Consumer Court to kindly intervene and direct Excitel Broadband Private Limited to refund my security deposit of ₹2000/- at the earliest.
