I am writing to file a complaint against Myntra, an online shopping platform, regarding the cancellation of my exchange order without a valid reason.
I placed an order through Myntra for a product sold by MODAMINGLE FASHION PRIVATE LIMITED with the Order ID: 1324665 52075425130503. After receiving the item, I requested an exchange according to Myntra’s exchange policy because the product did not meet my expectations.
However, Myntra cancelled my exchange request stating only “due to unavoidable reasons.” No clear explanation or valid justification was provided for this cancellation. As a consumer, I followed the proper procedure for exchange within the allowed time, and therefore such arbitrary cancellation is unfair and causes inconvenience and mental distress.
This action by Myntra amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, as the platform failed to honor its own exchange policy and did not provide transparency regarding the cancellation.
Therefore, I humbly request the Honorable Consumer Court to:
Direct Myntra to provide a proper resolution for my exchange request or refund.
Provide compensation for inconvenience, mental harassment, and loss of time caused by this issue.
Take necessary action to ensure such practices are not repeated with other consumers.
I have attached the relevant order details and communication records as evidence for your reference.
I kindly request the Honorable Commission to consider my complaint and provide justice as per the Consumer Protection Act.
