After just five months of purchase . Tha battery my phone started swelling but Motorola service centre not repaired in waranty
 
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to raise a **serious complaint** regarding my Motorola phone **Moto Edge 50 Fusion (8/128 GB, Model XT2423)**, purchased on **March 9, 2025**, which is still under warranty.

### **Complaint Summary:**

1. **Battery Swelling:**

* After just **five months of purchase**, the battery of my phone started swelling.
* The phone has **never been opened, mishandled, or repaired** from any unauthorized source.
* I submitted it to the **official Motorola service center** for repair.

2. **False Allegations by Service Center:**

* The service center staff falsely claimed that my phone was **opened by a local repair shop** and denied warranty coverage.
* I categorically deny this. The phone was **never opened** prior to my visit to the official service center.
* They also behaved **very rudely** and tried to shift the blame to me without proper evidence.

3. **Tampering & Missing Back Panel:**

* After submitting my phone, I suspect the service center **removed or swapped the back panel**.
* Before submitting, the back panel was intact and the phone was sealed.

4. **New Issue After Service Center Visit – Flashlight Not Working:**

* Before submitting the phone, **the flashlight was working perfectly**.
* After receiving it back from the service center, the flashlight is now **non-functional**.
* This clearly indicates **mishandling** or **tampering** by the service center.

5. **Retailer Behavior:**

* I approached the retailer, **DH Mobile Pvt Ltd**, where I purchased the phone.
* They too behaved **rudely and irresponsibly** and refused to support me despite the phone being under warranty.

### **My Demands:**

1. **Immediate replacement of the swollen battery under warranty.**
2. **Investigation into the damage caused to the flashlight** and necessary repair at no additional cost.
3. **Restoration of the original back panel** or replacement if it was removed or damaged.
4. **Disciplinary action** against the service center and retailer for their false allegations, tampering, and rude behavior.
5. If the issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate this to **Consumer Court** and seek legal action for:

* Deficiency in service
* Product tampering
* Harassment
* Mental distress

In such a situation, we suggest that you proceed by sending a legal notice to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Motorola India and the Akhil Traders – NGP (Motorola Authorized Service Center), formally requesting a resolution of your issue as early as possible. Kindly allow them a 15-day period to respond to the notice.

If you do not receive any response within this timeframe, please revert to us. We will then guide you through the process of filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
