My wife Mrs. Chaitali Baksi was traveling with my kid (Master Sourjo Baksi) from Kolkata (CCU) to Pune(PNQ) via Ahmedabad on 9th Nov 2024. The flight details are given below:

Flight No: 6E 135
PNR No: WT6F3S
Baggage tag No: 6E 977313
Complain registered in the name of Sourjo Baksi

As per Indigo's policy, my wife had 2 cabin luggages with her (1 for her and 1 for our child). However, at the time of boarding the flight from Kolkata, one of the lady ground staff approached my wife and told that there's a shortage of space and hence requested my wife to give one of her cabin luggage as a check-in luggage. Further, the staff assured my wife that she would be receiving the same at the Pune airport on arrival.

Further, I would like to highlight the fact that the staff who requested my wife to give the baggage as check in luggage was not even sure regarding route of the flight. She was was arguing with my wife that the flight is going to Pune via Mumbai and not via Ahmedabad which was not true. Just imagine the scenario. Your ground staff is not sure regarding route of the flight!!

On arrival at Pune airport, my wife did not get the cabin luggage which was given as a check-in luggage at the last minute (because of being forced by your ground staff to do so).

My wife approached Indigo Helpdesk and they mentioned that they would try to retrieve it and would send it to the address provided by my wife within 48hrs. Yesterday, my wife happened to receive a call from Indigo and they mentioned that the luggage is neither at Kolkata airport nor at Pune. After that there's no further update. Indigo Helpdesk had provided a phone number to my wife for following up. However, when my wife is trying to reach out at the number, no one is responding.

Please Note: This has caused severe mental stress to my wife for which Indigo should be compensating or returning the baggage.
