Subject: Complaint regarding mental harassment, cheating, fraud, and denial of refund by Amazon and a mobile phone retailer.

Respected sir/Madam, I, Ravikumar M, residing at the above-mentioned address, humbly submit this complaint seeking your kind intervention and legal action regarding cheating and fraud committed against me by Amazon and the concerned mobile phone retailer. On purchasing a mobile phone through Amazon, I paid a total amount of ₹8,500 for the device. The product was delivered to us successfully. However, upon opening and using the mobile phone, we noticed that the device had manufacturing defects and functional issues, making it unfit for use. We were extremely disappointed and distressed after discovering that the product did not meet acceptable standards. As per consumer rights and Amazon’s return policy, we immediately initiated a return request for the defective mobile phone. Amazon approved the return, and the device was picked up by their authorized collection agent on 10th January. We handed over the same mobile phone that was delivered to us, without any alteration, damage, or replacement. Despite the successful pickup, no refund was initiated even after repeated follow-ups. After several communications with Amazon customer service, we were shocked to be informed that Amazon has accused us of returning an incorrect or fake product, and on this basis, they have refused to process our refund. This allegation is completely false, baseless, and defamatory. We categorically state that: We returned the exact same mobile phone that was delivered to us. The product was collected by Amazon’s own authorized pickup agent. We had no control over the device once it was handed over to their agent. Amazon and the retailer failed to provide any proof or evidence to support their accusation. Instead of investigating the issue internally, Amazon has wrongfully shifted the blame onto us, treating us as culprits. This has caused mental harassment, emotional distress, and financial loss to me and my family. Being accused of fraud despite acting honestly has deeply affected us. This act clearly amounts to cheating, breach of trust, and unfair trade practices, and it appears that either negligence or misconduct has occurred during the return logistics or warehouse handling process, for which we are being unfairly blamed. I respectfully request you to: Register this complaint and take appropriate legal action against Amazon and the concerned retailer. Conduct an investigation into the return pickup, logistics chain, and refund denial. Help us recover our rightful refund of ₹8,500. Protect us from further harassment and false allegations. We are law-abiding citizens and have acted in good faith throughout this transaction. We place our trust in the police department to provide us justice and relief. I am ready to provide all supporting documents, including order details, payment proof, return confirmation, and communication records with Amazon, as and when required.
