Dear MakeMyTrip Team,
This is to raise a serious complaint regarding our 6N/7D private tour to Almaty and Baku. Despite paying a premium for a customized holiday, the trip suffered from poor planning, lack of coordination, and unprofessional service throughout.
The itinerary was poorly designed, with several days having no planned activities, including both arrival and departure days. We received the final itinerary just before departure, leaving no time for meaningful corrections.
In Almaty, the experience was only saved by our local driver, Mr. Ibek, who went beyond his duty suggesting popular spots omitted by MMT. MMT failed to verify local conditions – the Level 3 Cable Car tickets sold for Shymbulak Ski Resort were invalid as it was closed. The included Indian lunch was unavailable, forcing us to make our own arrangements.
In Baku, things worsened. No representative met us on arrival at 5 AM despite confirmed private transfer. We waited over two hours at the airport without support. The replacement car was unclean, and the driver spoke little English. City tours were minimal, missing major sights like Maiden Tower and Heydar Aliyev Centre, while visits to key attractions like Qobustan and Mud Volcanoes required extra payment. The same dirty car was used across days.
Repeated calls to our coordinator, Ms. Sushma, went largely unanswered, and assistance was non-existent. Our GST correction request for the invoice remains unresolved despite timely communication.
This tour, marketed as a premium private package, delivered substandard arrangements and caused significant stress. We therefore seek compensation of Rs 2,00,000 for deficient services, inconvenience, and mental distress. Kindly respond within 14 working days with resolution and refund confirmation.
