Hi team,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the quantity of chips in a Lay's packet I purchased recently. My name is Devendra Pandey, and I am a resident of Selaiyur, Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu.
On December 16th, I bought a packet of Lay's chips priced at Rs. 10. However, upon shaking the packet, I was shocked to find that it contained only 1 to 2 chips, with the majority of the packet filled with air. To make matters worse, when I weighed the packet, it only registered 5g, while the packet clearly states that it should contain 24g of chips.
This issue is not limited to just one packet. As a regular customer, I have noticed that such discrepancies in quantity have become a recurring problem, and I am certain that other consumers are experiencing the same issue. It is misleading and unfair to pay for a product that is not delivered as promised, and this poor packaging negatively impacts the reputation of a company like PepsiCo.
This underfilling not only causes financial loss to individual consumers but also undermines the integrity of the brand. Customers rely on the stated weight and quantity when purchasing products, and such misleading practices are bound to erode trust in the products.
I urge the team to take immediate and decisive action to resolve this issue. It is crucial to ensure that all products are correctly filled and meet the stated quantity. I also request appropriate compensation for the loss of value caused by this situation.
Sincerely,
Devendra Pandey
