I booked two KSRTC Volvo bus tickets from Vyttila Hub to Thiruvananthapuram, scheduled to depart at 2:11 AM on 27 December, for which a total amount of ₹1,426 was paid online.
I reported at Vyttila Hub well before the departure time and waited for more than 3 hours. However, the Volvo bus did not arrive, and no travel information or boarding message was received. On enquiring at the depot, the Station Master informed us that there was no information regarding the Volvo service and arranged an alternate journey in a Minnal Deluxe bus. No additional amount was collected from us.
Since the paid Volvo service did not operate, this amounts to deficiency in service. I emailed KSRTC requesting a refund, but no response or refund has been provided till date.
I request the Hon’ble Forum to kindly direct KSRTC to:
Refund ₹1,426 to my original mode of payment
Provide compensation for inconvenience and mental agony
Supporting documents (ticket details, payment proof, and email communication) can be provided as required.
