hello everyone i want to report here so no body should get cheated by jiomart i ordered a pendrive sandisk ultra shift usb flash drive 256gb on 28 october 2025 at a price of 1329.5 order number is 17616654880942237A and shipment no is 17616654880942237A-01 i paid through upi and order delivery time was 30 october 2025 there was no shipping details regarding my product it was only showing shipped on 30 october 2025 i called customer care multiple times in the day and they promised me the order will be delivered definitely by 9pm today so i was hoping on that but they were making fool out of me the order was showing delay in delivery and date updated to 1 november 2025 ie today but still there is no update on delivery there is no option to get my issue resolved or get refund please beware dont shop from jiomart they are totally fraud.

We are sharing the step by step process to file a case in the Consumer Forum against the Jio Mart.

Legal Framework & Precedents


a) Deficiency in service & unfair trade practice
Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, a service provider must supply goods/services with due care and skill, following the terms of contract/offer, and interactions must not be unfair or misleading. If JioMart fails to deliver what is promised, that may amount to a “deficiency in service” and/or “unfair trade practice”.

b) Relevant Judgments

In a case District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kozhikode vs JioMart (CC/193/2023, 31 Jul 2024), the Commission held JioMart liable where the complainant ordered items and one of them was not supplied, plus insufficient redressal by JioMart.


c) Why your case may have strong prospects

Steps You Should Take


Step 1: Document Everything
  • Screenshots of the offer/promised price/discount/delivery date.
  • Order invoice/confirmation from JioMart.

  • Delivery status (if missing item, wrong item, etc).
  • All communications (emails/chat with JioMart customer support) including dates, reference numbers, responses (or lack thereof).

Step 3: If not received any solution form NCH, file a Complaint with the Appropriate Consumer Forum.
  • Use the E-Jagriti portal: for online filing.
  • Upload all the legal files.
  • Attach: invoice/order, proof of payment, evidence of non-fulfilment, communications.
  • In your claim you could ask for e.g.: refund + compensation for harassment + interest/cost of complaint.


Important Practical Tips

  • Act promptly: Don’t delay too long after the service failure; memories fade, evidence may diminish.
  • Persist in following up with JioMart’s customer support and escalation channels — if you get a reply/time-line, keep tracking until it’s complied with (or fail then you escalate).
  • If refund is due, ensure you get acknowledgement or enforceable timeline from JioMart.
  • While consumer forums take time, the strength of your documentation and clarity of claim matters.
