I have purchased a 30 Mbps Jio AirFiber plan for 2 year, but for the last 3 months I have been getting speeds only up to 5 Mbps. I have raised multiple complaints, but the issue has not been resolved till date.
Despite my repeated follow-ups, no engineer has ever visited my location, and the customer support team only keeps closing my complaints without fixing the problem. I have several open and closed complaint IDs (e.g. SR00002GVJVE, SR00002IU KKL, SR00002EZEQO) which prove that I have been continuously reporting the issue.
This ongoing problem has caused me mental frustration and disturbance, as I have wasted significant time and energy following up with Jio support. Every time they assure me the issue will be fixed soon, but nothing changes. To make matters worse, the company representatives have also informed me that they cannot refund my money, even though I have not received the service as promised.
I have call recordings with Jio customer care and screenshots of all complaints as evidence of their negligence. This clearly amounts to deficiency in service and mental harassment under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
I request the Hon’ble Forum to:
1. Direct Jio to resolve my internet speed issue immediately or terminate my connection with a full refund.
2. Provide compensation for mental distress and inconvenience caused due to continuous negligence.
3. Take necessary action against the company for unfair trade practices and poor service.
