The installation of the said AC was carried out by Jeeves, the authorized installation partner assigned through Flipkart. After installation, the AC has stopped functioning properly.
Upon reporting the issue, the Voltas technician stated that the problem could be due to improper installation. However, during their subsequent visit, the installation service provider, Jeeves, clearly confirmed that the product itself was defective and that the issue falls under manufacturer warranty.
It is important to highlight that the installation was carried out by an authorized partner assigned by Flipkart. Therefore, any allegation of improper installation cannot absolve Flipkart of its responsibility. Further, the statement provided by Jeeves clearly establishes that the defect is inherent to the product itself.
Therefore, Voltas is liable to rectify the issue by replacing the defective product and cannot deny my rightful warranty claim.
I am attaching herewith:
• Invoice copy
• Other evidence
In view of the above, I hereby call upon Flipkart and Voltas to take immediate responsibility and provide a replacement of the defective unit under warranty without any further delay.
If the aforesaid issue is not resolved within 7 days from the date of this email, I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against all concerned parties before the competent consumer forum.
