I booked a hotel through Agoda app for two nights from 25th of August to 27th of August and the Agoda app was showing a total of ₹1433 as final bill, which included complimentary breakfast, but when we reach the hotel, the lead over their demanded ₹2866 saying that 1433 is for single night. I even showed her the booking details through the app, but she denied it instead, she showed me a screenshot on her phone. I don’t know if it is edited or not. The screenshot mention ₹2866 so I called the Agoda app customer care I talk to the representative and she insured me that the amount which the app was showing that much only I had to pay. So that representative wanted to talk to the hotel receptionist, the receptionist was so mean that she disconnected her landline of the hotel so that she don’t get any call from Agoda, so I let her speak directly through my phone then that foolish lady scammed the customer care representative by telling her that this booking hasn’t been made by Agoda. This rates are given by Booking.com. I am so mad at them. My flight was cancelled. That’s why I booked there at the airport, and I also had high fever. I didn’t had energy to fight enough. I did my best. I paid whatever money she demanded because I was not feeling well. This is totally cheating because next day in the morning, also, I saw a few customers going through the same problem at the reception. She was scamming them too, I overheard the talking between them.
