Regarding my booking ID: NH71132454918958 I had requested a primary guest name change as the name was entered incorrectly at the time of booking. MakeMyTrip informed me that they had emailed the hotel regarding this request; however, the hotel manager clearly confirmed that no such email was received and stated that the name change would have been done immediately if the email had been received. Due to this lack of coordination, I was forced to book another hotel for my guest. The hotel has also clearly confirmed that they are approving a full refund for this booking ID. I am therefore requesting MakeMyTrip to process the full refund immediately. Additionally, I am receiving emails stating that MakeMyTrip attempted to contact me, which is incorrect, as I have not received any call or message from MakeMyTrip on my registered contact number till now.
I am raising this complaint due to continuous service lapse and lack of proper coordination from MakeMyTrip regarding my hotel booking issue. Despite multiple follow-ups from my side, the matter has not been resolved. I was informed via email that MakeMyTrip attempted to contact me, however, I would like to clearly state that I have not received any calls on my registered mobile number till date. This incorrect communication is misleading and has further delayed the resolution of my case. Due to this delay I was forced to make alternate arrangements, resulting in financial loss, even though the hotel has already approved full refund.
I am attaching proofs of hotel manager who has told me about full refund amount.
