I have taken the Niva Bupa Poli cy in 2017 for my father (DOB-31 May-1959) with 17000 premium for 5 lakhs coverage (health companion). My Last year's premium was 31700 , suddenly they increased the prmium to 44700 this years which is too much. Every year they kept on increasing and within a year 14000 -15000 increase is too much. I want to understand whose decision it is , why this was not informed at the time of taking the policy. This is just a one way demand and as a customer we don't have any say. I understand after a certain age there is an increase in premium but 14000- 15000 in a years , this is not acceptable. I don't know how much it will help writing here, but should be considered .
