Subject: Complaint against defective bike and inconvenience caused due to manufacturing fault.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I,[ LAKSHYA AGARWAL], resident of [ kanpur ], wish to lodge a complaint against Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Dealer Name: [NORTHEN MOTORS]), regarding a defective bike sold to me.

I purchased a Hero Super Splendor bike on 20th October 2025 from the above-mentioned dealer. However, on 8th November 2025, the bike suddenly stopped in the middle of the road due to a gearbox failure. Because of this, I had to arrange a loader vehicle to take the bike to the service centre, which cost me ₹466.

This incident has caused me mental harassment, time loss, and financial loss, despite the bike being under warranty and driven only about 300 km. It is clearly a manufacturing defect, and I seek immediate redressal.

Therefore, I request the Hon’ble Forum to kindly:

1. Direct the company/dealer to reimburse ₹466 paid for towing charges.


2. Repair or replace the defective gearbox/bike free of cost.


3. Pay suitable compensation for inconvenience and mental harassment caused.



I am attaching the purchase invoice, service receipt, and towing bill for your reference.
