I would like to report a financial fraud done by the team of shine.com job portal. First, they asked me to make a basic payment of Rs. 3657.00 on 30-01-2025 saying I
will have better chances with job applications with this package. So, I bought it. The next day (31-01-2025), I got a call from shine.com team (relationship manager)
saying there is ONLY ONE basic step of Education (Rs. 4673.00) & Job Profile (Rs. 9556.00) verification which I must do to proceed further. Without this the process
will not be complete. The person asked me not to disconnect the phone and make the payment. After I made the payment, he told me that there is ONLY one more
step which I must do unless they will not process my application the previous invested amount will be wasted so I had no other option than to make further
payments as the person on the phone told after every payment that my application will not be processed further. In this way the total payment I have made to
shine.com is Rs. 149833.82 after which he ask me to send a reply mail saying to activate my services on urgent basis. All this was done over a phone call of around
30 minutes. He did not inform me in detail about the service for which I was paying and was giving false hope that I will get a high paying job in next 7-10
days.
I have also asked him to cancel my purchases and give me refund but he is not willing to. I have sent a mail also that I don’t need there services and give me a
full refund but they said they will not refund my money.
I feel this is very unethical way to doing business by the employees of a reputed company shine.com and have asked for a refund but they don't give. I feel I am
being cheated by shine.com
I am putting a complaint hoping that the someone will help me get full refund and also warn company to not use this kind of unethical ways of selling their
service.
