We recently purchased a 10-year membership worth ₹190,000 from Club Liberty. The contract clearly states that we are entitled to a full refund if we cancel our membership within 10 days of purchase.

We made the payment on 20th August and sent a cancellation email on 26th August, the 6th day, without using any of their membership benefits. However, they are now denying our request, stating that they cannot cancel the policy, and are not providing any valid reason or proof when we ask over email.

If the second Party( Which is us) Gives Written information within 10 days from the date of purchase of the agreement then only the administration charges and government charges will be deducted and rest of the amount will be transferred to the second party"


Theses are few of our reason not to trust on Club liberty :

1. False Promises: Your team made false promises about the availability of pet-friendly properties. We were told there were ample options, but only 3 properties were shared for Coorg, whereas there are many more 4-star pet-friendly properties available (I myself checked 10+ properties)

2. Pet Charges: Your team explicitly confirmed that there would be no pet charges, but now we're being asked to pay ₹750 per pet for bookings in Coorg.

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy: The team assured us of flexible booking and cancellation policies (minimum 72 hours advance booking and 24 hours advance cancellation with no holiday days deducted), but this seems not to be the case.

4. No Dedicated Relationship Manager: Your team promised a dedicated Relationship Manager to facilitate bookings and handle disputes/queries, but upon onboarding, I was only provided with a toll-free customer care number. There was no dedicated RM as claimed, which feels like a false promise made to sell the plan.

5. Unmet Priorities: Our primary requirement was to find comfortable, pet-friendly places without additional hassle or expenses. Unfortunately, the membership has failed to meet this fundamental expectation, making it unsuitable for our needs.

6. High-Pressure Sales Tactics: We were pressured into buying the membership immediately with the promise of discounts that would only be applicable if we purchased right away. The sales team claimed this 10-year membership was only available through their promotional event, which tricked us into making a hasty decision.

7. Pre-existing Complaints: After researching, we found multiple cases filed against the company in consumer forums and numerous negative reviews on platforms like Quora and Reddit. Many customers have reported poor service, issues with cancellations, issues with membership termination and false promises similar to our experience, which raises serious concerns about the company's credibility.
