Respected Sir/Madam,

I am lodging this complaint against Avataar Skin Clinic for providing misleading consultations, unprofessional medical care, substandard treatments, and disorganized administrative processes resulting in physical harm, emotional distress, and financial loss. The following facts detail my experience:

Background

  • In October 2024, I consulted Avataar Skin Clinic after seeing a Facebook advertisement for Glutathione IV.
  • I was directed by Ms. Priya (Sales team) to speak with a dermatologist regarding my concerns about open pores and fine lines.
  • The dermatologist recommended PRP treatment, describing it as a high-quality procedure performed by certified dermatologists using superior products.

Service Concerns and Negligence

  1. Unqualified Practitioner & Bruising
    • The procedure was conducted by Dr. Madhuri, who revealed she is a dentist pursuing dermatology.
    • Her inability to draw blood properly left visible bruises on my hand. Despite complaints, she was reassigned for future sessions.
  2. Use of Substandard Products
    • My skin showed no improvement, and Dr. Madhuri confirmed that the clinic used basic PRP products (~₹250) which yielded poor results.
    • She advised purchasing higher-grade products (~₹2,500) separately, which I did, but the treatment remained painful and harsh, leading to further bruising.
  3. Disorganized and Misleading Administration
    • I opted to switch to laser treatment, priced initially at ₹17,000–₹18,000.
    • I was told I had a ₹12,000 balance, but faced a 4-month-long back-and-forth between the Sales and Accounts teams, including interactions with Aakash, Dhruv, Priya, Sarita, and Shreya.
    • Eventually, the price was arbitrarily hiked to ₹22,800, with no accountability for the delay caused entirely by the clinic’s mismanagement.

Impact on Me

  • I endured painful, ineffective treatments administered by an unqualified practitioner using substandard products.
  • I suffered emotional and mental distress due to repeated miscommunication, neglect, and rude behavior from more than ten staff members.
  • I have lost trust in Avataar Skin Clinic’s professionalism and service quality.
  • Financial loss of 25000 I paid upfront for PRP treatment
