Complaint
- That the Complainant is a consumer as defined under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Opposite Party is engaged in providing paid flute training services.
- That on or about 16th August 2025, the Opposite Party promised to conduct flute classes for the Complainant. Based on this assurance, the Complainant made a payment of ₹11,000 (Rupees Eleven Thousand only) towards the flute classes.
- That the payment of ₹11,000 was made via UPI , and proof of payment is available with the Complainant.
- That despite repeated assurances, the Opposite Party did not initiate a single class till date. No schedule, classes, or learning material was provided.
- That the Complainant made several attempts to contact the Opposite Party through calls, messages, and follow-ups. However, the Opposite Party has stopped responding completely and has failed to provide any explanation or refund.
- That the conduct of the Opposite Party amounts to:
- Deficiency in service
- Unfair trade practice
- Mental harassment and financial loss to the Complainant
- That the Complainant has lost faith in the Opposite Party and does not wish to continue with the services even if offered now.
- That the cause of action arose since i did the payment and continues till date due to non-refund and non-response.
Relief Sought
In view of the above facts, the Complainant respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Commission may be pleased to:a) Direct the Opposite Party to refund ₹11,500 paid by the Complainant
b) Award compensation of ₹[amount, e.g., 5,000–10,000] for mental agony and harassment
c) Award litigation costs incurred by the Complainant
d) Pass any other order(s) as this Hon’ble Commission may deem fit in the interest of justice
