Amount Paid via credit card (24 months of EMI) : Rs1,61,000 (exclusive of credit card monthly installment interest).
Here are some of the false commitments made by the sales team of W International Holidays at the time of purchase of membership :
1. False Commitments on 5-Star Hotels
At the time of purchase, I was shown a detailed presentation featuring multiple 5-star hotels and resorts across various locations. I was clearly assured that such premium properties would always be available under the membership. However, after purchasing, none of these options are actually accessible. Every time I raise a travel request, I am told that all 5-star hotels are “already booked.” This has been the same response for the last five consecutive requests.
The company hides behind cleverly worded clauses in their agreement to deny services:
● “Subject to Availability” – They use this term as an excuse to reject the majority of travel requests.
● “Membership Cannot Be Cancelled” – Once you realize the poor and substandard services, you cannot cancel or claim a refund.
In reality, these conditions are used as tools to trap customers into a membership with no genuine benefits.
2. Restrictions on redeeming special offers during specific dates were never disclosed at the time of purchase.
3. Several destinations I requested were not available in their network, despite clear assurances earlier.
4. I was told bookings could be made with 15 days’ prior notice, but later they insisted on 45-60 days during long weekends/peak seasons, making the commitment meaningless.
5. My travel requests were rejected multiple times with excuses like “subject to availability” or “long weekends,” even in the off-season. To get any response, I had to personally visit their office.
6. No proper coordination and support from their operations team. Sales people who sold me the membership has left the company now.
7. I have tried filing complaint with them and mailed multiple times about my concern but they haven't considered my complaint. They have just made me helpless, Neither they are providing refund nor they are providing services.
I have rasied my travel request for 2-3 times in last 6 months and till date I am never served as they promised about their services at the time of selling their membership.
I request for the full refund along with the applicable interest of last 6 months over the membership amount in addition with the interest paid by me to credit card company on my monthly EMI's till date.
