I have purchased a laptop from Flipkart, the ZEBRONICS Pro Series Z Intel Core i5 12th Gen 1235U - (8 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 11 Home) ZEB-NBC 4S Thin and Light Laptop; however, I have received a faulty/refurbished laptop unit from Flipkart, which often gives more noise, and being a high-config machine, it's very slow to work, and the wifi is also not connecting. After usage of 1 or 2 hours, it is overheating. While receiving the package itself from Flipkart, I got suspicious; however, the delivery executive convinced me that it's a new unit. At first instance I felt the laptop was not genuine, and after using it for three days I raised a complaint in Flipkart to replace or return the laptop, for which they sent a service executive who inspected the laptop and suggested visiting the Zebronics store in the Hyderbad CTC area. After going there, they just formatted the laptop and returned it, stating no issues. When I asked to run the diagnostics to determine if the hardware is genuine or not, they are not responding. Later I ran some tools to determine whether the product is original or a grey item; the result says it's not a genuine unit, and CPU metric values are not showing as per its specifications. So I'm now confident that it's a gray item. In this whole process I have tried Flipkart customer support 5 times, but each time they are saying the same answer: they will get back to me ASAP if I call them repeatedly; they are saying they are not responsible for issues after selling, and I need to contact Zebronics Store for further issues.

NOTE: I have waited for their response for more than one month and even wrote an email for both Flipkart and Zebronics customer support centers for their response, but I didn't get any response from them till date.

How do you know that it refurbished ?

If you have not received any reply even after contacting both the parties, we suggest you to file a case in the Consumer Forum online at e-jagriti Platform: Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Government of India

For any help in drafting and submitting the case feel free to contact us.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I'm sure that it's not a brand new unit; as per the configuration, it should work super fine, but it's not even showing 20% performance compared to its configuration, and I have tried contacting both parties, but they are just doing time passing without any resolution, and it's already been one month since I raised the complaint till now; no response from them.

Kindly help me with the drafting and submission procedure to file a case on Flipkart.
