On November 9. 2025, I ordered a 5 Carat Round Cut VVS Moissanite Big Halo Yellow 14K Gold Plated Men's Ring from shivay-jewels on eBay. I requested a men’s size 10 in a yellow gold finish. I was charged $201.40.
The ring was delivered on December 4, 2025 however, the ring finish was white gold. I was charged an additional $50.00 (paid to Sujata Acharekar) on December 9, 2025 to correct their mistake and send another ring in the size and color I had originally requested.
The second (corrected) ring was delivered on December 23, 2025 and presented as a Christmas gift.
After wearing the ring approximately 7 days, the yellow gold finish began wearing off, revealing a dull silver tone metal underneath. I contacted the seller and was told that it was either worn while bathing or my brother had washed his hands in acid. Neither of these scenarios are true.
The ring was no 925 marking and looks like a cheap metal alloy.
The ring is NOT what was advertised.
