Dear Consumer Court,
I am writing this mail to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience I had with Saffron Naturopathy and research Institute I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention in the hope that it can be resolved promptly and prevent similar issues in the future.
On April 2023 I Kushal Bedh had enrolled for a distant PHD Course in Alternative system of medicine offered by Saffron Naturopathy and research Institute it is a 3 year course Apr2023 to 2026 the cost of the course is 55k which the institute insisted in the first month itself after paying the whole fees there was only initial lectures and after a month there were no lectures done. We were not even guided through the study material and thesis writing. The insitiute conducted 2 examinations till date 1st of Jul 2024 and 2nd on 23rd Apr 2025 over google forms which I have submitted after that we got calls from different staff members demanding extra fees of rs 15380 saying I have not written the exams. Please find attached the proof of the screenshots of the exams that I have written.
I also had a conversation with them multiple times regarding the same but they denied the same. The Head of the department also uses foul and disrespected language over the phone and on the day of the visit we had on 3rd Feb 2026.
The institute now denies any refund of fees also has not answered any multiple mails to them over this issues. Now the Initiute head says we are not an institute and only a foundation.
