Respected Sir,
I purchased a Livpure brand Water purified on 10th Oct23 with an extended warranty upto 9th Oct25 which is still under warranty. During 2023-24 I was eligible to get 2 Free Services once in 6 months. One Free service was done on the expiry of almost 6 months and the remaining is still due.
In the last week of Nov24 I received a call from LivPure saying my warranty period was over and I need to renew the AMC Contract, since I was away from my sytems and I asked them call the next day but I never receiveda any call after that. Then I contacted myself to come to do the service of the machine which when I was told that I need I need to pay for the 2nd service that is inclusive of replacement of the filters. They were supposed to do the Free service before the expiry of the first year, i.e. before 9th of October which they forgot but I received only in Nov24.
If you check my purchase details - FlipKart as per the enclosed docuemnt, I have paid the cost of the machine Rs.7,999/- over and above I have paid Rs.399/- for the extended warranty. LivPure argued there are two kinds of service warranty one is with Filters repalcement and another is simple service which was not explained in details for the customer while purchasing product. It is the concealment of the fact. Then, the Raksha Enterprises, the authotised service centre of LivPure Water purifier said would let me know after confirmation from the principal. The next day I received the confirmation saying the filters would not be repalced. Only service would be done. In the meantime, I also said the water taste has also changed and therefore it was clear this was the right time to change the filters and we are drinking the contaminated water since September 2024.
I contacted OneAssist the new insurance ageny who has taken the contract to provide service to LivPure waterpurfiers for Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli and Madurai who came to inspect the machine whether any outward damage was there are not, they clicked the machine and QR code as well. They also reverted me back saying my devise was not covered for any replacement of filters.
My question is what about my service due that ought to have happened in October which was NOT YET done. Secondly, I have paid Rs.399/- to OneAssist for the extended warranty from 10th Oct24 to 9th Oct25, what abou that and and what for it was paid? To my surprise, they closed the service complaint without doing the due service to me. I have the Whatsapp message with me on phone 9988010277. If they have not done the service, let them return the sum of Rs.399/- I paid along with the penalty and inerest for the harrassment and deficiency of services.
Needless to mention, LivPure the principal which is selling thier product failed to provide the due services and on time which is a breach of trust and harassment for the past one week.
Therefore, I have no other alternative except to seek your guidance and justice as a consumer immediately, becoz we are drinking the contaminated water daily. While buying the product they say so many promises, but after buying it they say different things, behave indifferently.
Looking forward to receing the due justice from you soon.
