Bike Defective Electrical Wiring & Engine Warning Issue – Yamaha RayZR within Warranty Period

I purchased a Yamaha RayZR bike one year ago and have used it very minimally—only around 1100 kilometers so far. I have always taken the bike for servicing on time without missing any scheduled service.

After my most recent service at an authorized Yamaha service center, the Engine Management Warning Light appeared as soon as I took the bike home. I returned it immediately to the service center, where they connected it to diagnostic software and said that during the wash, a loose connection may have triggered the issue. They claimed it was rectified.

However, the warning light appeared again shortly after, and this time the speedometer also stopped working. I returned to the service center the next day, and now they are saying that a wire may have broken and that I must bear the cost of repairs. They even refused to re-check the issue using the software, and are denying any responsibility from their side.

This is extremely disappointing and clearly points to negligence during servicing, especially since:

The bike is still under warranty.
It is rarely used and in excellent condition.
The issue started immediately after their handling.
I strongly believe the service center's actions caused this issue, and I should not be made to pay for their fault. Additionally, due to this problem, I faced delays in important personal and professional tasks, which caused inconvenience and financial loss.

Relief Sought:

Immediate and free rectification of the faulty wiring and all related electrical issues.
Written acknowledgment that the fault occurred during the service.
Compensation for the inconvenience, time lost, and disruption to my important work due to their negligence.
Strict action against the service center for mishandling and poor customer service.

Loss Amount:
To be assessed after full evaluation of the damages and delays.

Ratings:
1 Star – Highly dissatisfied with the service and the staff irresponsible and careless behaviour.
