I am filing this complaint against Amazon India Private Limited for deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

I placed an order on Amazon bearing Order No. 402-1164288-4285102, dated 03 December 2025, for Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ (11.0 inch) for a total amount of ₹22,278/-.

The product was delivered in a damaged condition. I immediately reported the issue to Amazon customer support and completed all required steps for the return. A return request was created for the damaged product.
However, the return pickup failed multiple times. After that, Amazon conducted an investigation, but the investigation result was incorrectly updated, and the issue was not resolved.

Since the matter remained unresolved, I sent an email to Amazon’s executive team requesting escalation. After this escalation, the executive team created an exceptional return request.

When the delivery agent arrived for pickup, he refused to take the product stating that the item was damaged, even though the product was received by me in the same damaged condition at the time of delivery.

I informed the executive team about this situation. However, the executive team responded that they would not be able to provide any further help in this matter.
Due to this situation, my refund of ₹22,278/- has still not been processed, and I have been left with a damaged product despite following all return procedures.
This clearly amounts to deficiency in service and unfair treatment towards a consumer.

Relief Sought
Immediate full refund of ₹22,278/-
Proper resolution of the return issue
Necessary action to prevent such inconvenience to consumers

I request the concerned authority to kindly intervene and resolve this grievance at the earliest.
