I placed a food order (Order No. 126) on 30.09.2025 (Durga Ashtami) from the dominos pizza outlet in agartala, tripura for a vegetarian item – Classic Veg Garlic Bread. However, I was delivered non-vegetarian food instead of the vegetarian item ordered.

My family and I are strict vegetarians, and the delivery of non-vegetarian food caused mental agony and hurt to our religious and personal sentiments, particularly on a sacred festival day. Immediately after receiving the parcel, I tried to contact the store several times on the official contact number, but no calls were answered, which amounts to deficiency in service and negligence.

I have video evidence of opening the sealed parcel, clearly proving the wrong delivery. Despite sending a formal email complaint, the issue was not resolved. Therefore, I am filing this complaint seeking compensation for mental harassment, and appropriate relief under the Consumer Protection Act.

We recommend that you first call the Dominos customer care at "1800-208-1234" and also send an email to the customer care department of the Dominos (guestcareDominos@jublfood.com), clearly outlining your concerns that you have received non-vegetarian food instead of the vegetarian and requesting for Compensation and also ask them to Refund the amount.

This step not only gives the Dominos a chance to compensate and refund but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later..

If they already refunded the amount and provided you the reference number but the amount is not reflecting in your account, please contact your bank or payment provider.
