Complaint Against Uppal Bajaj Service Centre – Unjustified Billing for Pulsar N160 Service
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the service provided by Uppal Bajaj Service Centre on 3rd November 2025 for my Pulsar N160 motorcycle.
Despite clearly instructing the service team to perform only the following:
Engine oil change
Air filter replacement
Front footrest replacement
I was charged a total of ₹2044, which included several unauthorized and unexplained charges, such as:
Chain lubrication and cleaning
Consumable charges of ₹88
Pad step replacement
Paid service charges exceeding ₹500
These services were neither requested nor approved by me, and I was not informed about them prior to billing. When I asked for clarification, I did not receive a proper explanation for these additions.
This lack of transparency and consent in billing is unacceptable. I request:
A detailed justification for each charge on the bill.
A refund or adjustment for the unauthorized services.
Assurance that such practices will not be repeated.
Please treat this matter with urgency and respond within 7 working days. If unresolved, I will be compelled to escalate this issue to the appropriate consumer grievance authorities.
