Respected Sir/Madam,
I, the undersigned, wish to file a formal complaint against HDFC Bank and Nov Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. for unauthorized deductions from my bank account via an electronic mandate (e-mandate) which I never authorized or subscribed to.
Without my knowledge or consent, a subscription linked to Nov Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. was activated, and an amount of Rs. 899 was debited twice from my HDFC bank account – totaling Rs. 1,798. These unauthorized transactions have caused financial loss and mental distress.
Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter directly with HDFC Bank through customer care and email complaints, no effective resolution has been provided. I did not authorize or sign up for any recurring payments to Nov Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., and yet the charges continue without any accountability.
Therefore, I request this Hon'ble Forum to kindly take cognizance of the matter and:
1. Direct HDFC Bank and Nov Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. to cancel the unauthorized e-mandate immediately.
2. Order a full refund of Rs. 1,798 to my bank account.
3. Impose a penalty for deficiency in service and causing mental agony.
4. Ensure that such unauthorized mandates are not processed without the customer’s explicit and recorded consent in future.
I am attaching relevant proofs such as bank statements, SMS/email alerts of deductions, and complaint records for your reference.
I request the Hon'ble Forum to kindly take appropriate action and provide me with justice.
