I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against TCL India regarding a defective television purchased through Amazon and the subsequent deficiency in service and failure to honour commitments made by their service representatives.

Chronology of Events:

• 30 March 2025 – Television purchased via Amazon.
• 24 May 2025 – First failure: LED panel stopped functioning within two months of purchase.
• 29 July 2025 – Technician inspected the TV and verbally confirmed that the unit would be replaced with a new unit.
• 25 August 2025 – Instead of replacement, the TV was returned after only the LED panel was repaired/replaced.
• 30 September 2025 – Second failure: the panel failed again within 36 days of repair.
• 5 October 2025 – Technician inspected again and verbally confirmed replacement.

Despite repeated follow-ups, TCL has failed to provide a proper resolution. A representative from TCL Kerala After Sales Service, Mr. Abhishek Bastia, initially stated that the company policy allowed only repair or depreciation refund. However, after further discussion, he confirmed that a full refund of ₹15,990 would be provided as a special case. Subsequently, this commitment was withdrawn and the company has now refused to honour even that assurance.

Due to this prolonged issue and repeated service interventions, I have faced significant inconvenience, financial burden, and distress.

I am submitting this complaint along with supporting documents including the purchase invoice, service records, and email correspondence with TCL for your review and necessary action.
