Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing this formal complaint against Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. for deficiency in service, negligence, false commitments, and causing mental harassment due to an unresolved TV repair issue pending since 20th October 2025.

Details of the Complaint
1. Nature of Product & Issue

I own a Samsung television under valid warranty. I raised a service request on 20th October, as the TV became non-functional.

Since then, Samsung’s service team has consistently provided false commitments, stating repeatedly that the issue would be resolved within “4–5 days,” which never happened.

I have sent 10–12 reminders, all unanswered or responded with generic scripted replies.

2. Wrong Diagnosis by Samsung

After delaying the repair for one full month, Samsung’s technician finally visited my home on 24nd November with a replacement panel.

Shockingly, the technician confirmed that:
The panel was never faulty,
Samsung had diagnosed the issue incorrectly,
The actual fault is in another internal component, which they did not identify earlier.

This proves gross negligence, lack of technical competence, and failure to provide proper service.

3. One Month Wasted Due to Samsung’s Error

Samsung took 30+ days to:
Misdiagnose the problem
Order the wrong part
Waste time with repeated false deadlines
Provide no transparent or factual updates

Now, due to their mistake, they intend to restart the diagnosis process, which will again cause unnecessary delay and harassment.

This is a clear violation under:

Section 2(11) – Deficiency in Service
Section 2(47) – Unfair Trade Practice
Section 39 – Consumer Rights

4. Relief Requested

I request the Hon’ble Commission to kindly direct Samsung to:

Immediately complete the repair with the correct part within a strict timeline.

Provide an explanation for the wrong diagnosis and month-long delay.

Compensate me for:
Mental harassment
Loss of use of the TV for over a month
Time wasted in repeated follow-ups
Any other compensation deemed fit by the Commission
Reimburse any litigation costs incurred.

5. Request for Acceptance of Complaint

Given the prolonged negligence and financial/mental inconvenience caused, I request the Hon’ble Commission to kindly accept this complaint and initiate proceedings against Samsung.
