Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. regarding their failure to honor the replacement policy and poor customer service in relation to a recently purchased smartphone.

On 26 May 2025, I purchased a new Samsung A25 phone from SR SALES , Haldwani, Uttarakhand. As per Samsung’s policy, the device was under a 14-day replacement warranty for any manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, I started facing issues with the device—specifically with the touchscreen responsiveness, speaker output, and network connectivity from nexr day of purchase—well within the 14-day period.

I immediately contacted Samsung customer care and visited their service center "DevX technology". Staff their is very rude and unprofessional. However, despite reporting the issue within the warranty period, the staff failed to replace the device. Instead, they delayed the resolution and, after almost three weeks, they informed me that the motherboard/display needs to be replaced—a serious hardware issue for a brand-new phone.

I believe this is a clear case of deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, as the company did not honor its own replacement policy and sold me a defective unit. I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the product and the manner in which Samsung has handled this matter.

I seek the following resolutions:
1. Immediate replacement of the defective handset with a new one.
2. Compensation for the mental harassment, time lost, and inconvenience caused.
3. Any other relief deemed appropriate by the Forum.

Attached are copies of the purchase invoice, complaint/reference numbers, service center records, and any communication with Samsung customer support.

We understand that the Samsung service center has not responded and not changed your Samsung A25 mobile even after the 15 days return policy (you mentioned), despite you having all the necessary supporting documents like bill and invoice.

In such a situation, we suggest that you proceed by sending a legal notice to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Samsumg, formally requesting a resolution of your issue and return/replace the mobile phone. Also attach the Job-Sheet issued by the service center. Kindly allow them a 15-day period to respond to the notice.

If you do not receive any response within this timeframe, please revert to us. We will then guide you through the process of filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
