I am writing to make a formal complaint against Mr Navjot Singh, Owner of Prabh Fabrication Work, with their office located at E-106, Phase-VII, Industrial Area, Sector 73, S.A.S Nagar, Mohali, 160055. I am complaining because he sold me a very poor-quality product, even though I paid the full price for a good-quality item.

On 10th February 2025, I hired Mr.Navjot Singh to make an iron gate. The gate was supposed to be 6 feet by 2.5 feet (6' x 2'6"). We agreed that the price would be ₹8,000 for a good-quality gate. I paid the full amount of ₹8,000 to Mr. Navjot Singh on 16th Feb 2025 via Paytm.

But the gate that was delivered on 16th April 2025 is of very poor quality. It is not at all what we agreed on. Here are the problems:

  • The welding is very poor. The joints are not done properly.
  • There is no lock on the gate, so it is not secure.
  • The metal sheet used in the middle is not one full piece. He used cut pieces joined together.
  • The way the gate is finished is very bad. Anyone can see the poor quality just by looking at it; it doesn't need close inspection.
  • There are about 8 to 10 mistakes in the gate.
I am very disappointed because the gate is not at all the good quality product I was promised and paid for. I tried to talk to Mr. Navjot Singh to fix these problems, but he refused to help and even refused to refund the amount.

  • I will include the following as proof:
    • Video evidence of the gate's poor quality.
Because of these reasons, I respectfully ask for your help to resolve this issue. I would be grateful if you would consider the following:

  1. I kindly ask that you arrange for me to receive a full refund of ₹8,000. Also, I ask for fair payment for the trouble and distress this situation has caused me. Because the gate is such poor quality and I do not trust Mr.Navjot Singh's work, I do not want the gate replaced.
  2. I trust that you will also consider any other appropriate actions to address this issue.
