I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Ola Electric (Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd.) for supplying a defective electric scooter, failing to deliver the promised mileage, and providing inadequate customer service, causing me significant inconvenience, financial loss, and mental distress.

### Details of Purchase
I purchased an Ola Electric Scooter S1 x+ 3kw) from Online portal January 11, 2024, for INR 112000/- The company’s website and promotional materials claimed a range of 150 km (IDC) on a full charge. However, the scooter has consistently underperformed, delivering a range of less than 70km, even after multiple service attempts.
Issues Faced
1. Breakdown Incident: On January 11, 2024, after traveling just 2 km, the scooter broke down at 10:00 PM, leaving me stranded. I attempted to contact Ola Electric’s customer care number (080-33113311), which was invalid. After significant effort, I obtained a showroom representative’s personal number. The representative provided temporary troubleshooting advice, which allowed me to reach home safely. This incident highlights the company’s failure to provide reliable emergency support. This break is downs are quite often but some how it start by its own.
The latest break down on 16 dec 2025 is so severe that scooter is not drivalable at all.


2. Poor Mileage: Despite the company’s claim of a 176 km range, the scooter consistently delivers less than 100 km per full charge, even under optimal conditions. This significant shortfall violates the company’s advertised specifications and constitutes a misrepresentation of the product.

3. Unresponsive Customer Service: i call hyperservice no one showed up. i register complain using there online tele caller (080-33113311) they listen i told me they will schedule a visit but no one showed up. then i ready to move scooter to nearest serivce centre which is 3 km apart they require appointment throguh call i called same number again they said yes by checking my pin i.e 411033 . but they scheduled call to 100 km far service centre at pin 410201. this is done 5 times every time the service cetre is 100 km far from my location.

The defective scooter, coupled with Ola Electric’s irresponsible behavior, has caused me significant inconvenience, financial loss (due to repeated service visits and transportation costs), and mental distress. The company’s failure to honor its warranty obligations and address my grievances violates my consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Relief Sought
1. Refund the full purchase amount of INR [Purchase Amount] or replace the defective scooter with a new, fully functional unit.
2. Compensate me for the financial losses, mental agony, and inconvenience caused, amounting to INR 147000 and my loan interst
3. Cover litigation costs and any additional
