4. Nature of Complaint:
The water softener purchased from Malhar Hydrotech stopped working shortly after installation. Despite being under warranty, the Opposite Party failed to provide repair, replacement, or service despite repeated phone calls and follow-ups. This has caused inconvenience and hardship to me and my family, as the machine is essential for safe household water usage.
This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Immediate repair or replacement of the water softener OR refund of ₹64,000
Compensation of ₹25,000 for inconvenience and mental agony
₹5,000 towards legal and filing expenses
