1. That the Complainant is a resident of Chennai and availed fitness services from the Opposite Party, thereby qualifying as a 'consumer' under Section 2(7) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2. That on February 4, 2025, the Complainant paid ₹6,000 in cash to the Opposite Party for a six-month gym membership.
3. That on March 4, 2025, the gym ceased operations without any prior notice to its clients.
4.I have joined gym and paid
6000 for 6 months(from feb
4th 2025) directly to the
trainer without any bill if i
asked for the he told that he
will give later. After few
weeks the gym got closed on
(march 4th 2025)without any
prior information for the
clients and i asked for refund
for the remaining subscribed
months but they not even
responding to my calls and
chats
5. That the actions of the Opposite Party constitute a deficiency in service and an unfair trade practice under Sections 2(11) and 2(47) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
